The Wrong Goodbye

Arthur’s bank manager won’t extend his already considerable overdraft, and his car lot, lock up and goods have been seized by the sheriff for non-payment. He contemplates retirement, but he hasn’t paid National Insurance since 1956, so doesn’t qualify for a state pension.
